Description and objectives

To comply with the provisions of the Consolidated Law on Security (Legislative Decree 81/08), the Acea Infrastructure Work Safety Unit offers a support and assistance service to the Work Manager of the Framework Maintenance Agreements stipulated with the Group Companies. This service covers general safety management activities throughout the term of the contract.

To ensure these activities, a management platform called Co.Sì was developed in 2020.

The platform performs various tasks through specific modules, including the verification of the technical-professional suitability of the companies involved in the works and/or services entrusted both by the Customer Group Companies and by Acea Infrastructure itself.

Project details

The platform involves all stakeholders interested in the governance of the process:

Companies of all orders and levels (executors, subcontractors, etc.) - through a web platform, companies can register, archive and check the deadlines of all necessary documentation, personnel and means used on contracts.

Work Safety Unit - verifies consistency with the regulations, validating the documents, personnel and means of all contractors/executors.

Contractors/executors - these check the consistency with the regulations and validate the documents, personnel and means of the secondary companies (subcontractors etc.) under the supervision of the Work Safety unit.

Contract governance roles (Sole PM, Work Manager, Safety Coordinator, Inspectors, etc.) - these roles can view all the information entered on the platform by the companies and the related validations carried out by the Work Safety unit.

The Co.Sì. platform represents an innovative tool for the management of safety on construction sites, allowing a centralised and transparent control of all the documents and checks necessary to ensure regulatory compliance. This integrated approach facilitates collaboration between all the actors involved, ensuring a high standard of safety and quality in the projects managed.
